We pride ourselves on expertise in pest control and friendly personal service, with a technician and support team you know and trust. You are encouraged to request your favourite technician, who will become a familiar face as they service your property for years to come.

Patrick Legey

Patrick (Licence No. 5069866) is responsible for all pest control operations carried out by Austrapest. He holds 41 units of Competency against the National Pest Management Competency Standards (note that only 3 units are required to achieve a NSW EPA administered pest managers licence). Patrick is a pest and weed control consultant, an horticulturist, tree surgeon, fitter and turner. He holds Certificate 3 and 4 in Urban Pest Management, Certificate 4 in Workplace Training and Assessment. Patrick is also an Industry Training and Advisory Board (PMITAG) member. Patrick is currently an AEPMA NSW/ACT State Councillor and has served on the previous NSW Pest Control Licencing Board, Pest management Training package reviews and Industry Codes of Practice.

Patrick has almost 40 years of experience in the pest control industry and you can be guaranteed your work will be completed by the book. Apart from pest control, Patrick enjoys cooking, rock 'n' roll dancing, photography, gardening, spending time with his family and helping at his Rotary Club.

 

Annmaree Jones

Annmaree is responsible for office management, administration and marketing. Even our office staff hold loads of qualifications. Annmaree holds a Bachelor of Social Studies from the University of Sydney and Cert IV in Small Business Management. She is also a pest control consultant and has 25 years of experience in the pest control industry. In her spare time, Annmaree enjoys dancing, sewing and skiing. She will race you down the slopes. She'll most likely win. 

Adam Legey

Adam (Licence No. 5069595) has been with us for over 15 years as one of our Senior Technicians. A customer favourite, he goes above and beyond to make sure your inspections are as detailed as they come. Adam is a fully qualified pest control consultant. He holds Certificate 3, including Units 8 and 10, in Timber Pest Management and Inspection work. Adam is an AEPMA accredited Timber Pest Specialist and is PestCert accredited. He also holds an Advanced Diploma in Wood Products Management from Melbourne University. Adam is a fully qualified pest control consultant. When he's not working in pest control and spending time with his family, he is becoming a fully qualified plumber. We call him Adam 2 hats.

Jessica Legey

Jess is the daughter of Annmaree and Patrick, and the face behind the facebook posts, managing the new website, and flitting in and out of the office part time while also managing my own floristry side business. When not answering the phones and dealing with clients and technicians, She has become the office go-to for all our IT and Telstra needs (while having no intrinsic experience in either). With no specific pest control certifications per se, she does come with a double degree in commerce accounting and business administration majoring in marketing; a Cert IV in small business management; a Cert III in Floristry; life long family involvement in a pest control business.
When not working for Austrapest and wrangling flowers, She loves spending time with her 2 year old and playing netball, the greatest sport of them all.
